GivingTuesday Event
This Giving Tuesday, make a difference in our community by participating in Cumberland Community Foundation’s special event! From November 25th (9am) through December 4th (5pm), every gift you make will be amplified by their generous matching program, giving you the chance to double your impact.
Ways to Give:
- Credit Card: Donate $25 or more through our online catalog by clicking on the Donate Now button available starting November 25th at 9am. Donations can be made up until December 4th at 5pm.
- Check: Write your check payable to “Cumberland Community Foundation” with “GivingTuesday” in the memo. Be sure to include a list of charities from the Guide to Giving you wish to support. Mail checks to CCF, PO Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302, or drop them off in our secure mail slot at 308 Green Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. Checks must be received by December 4th at 5pm to qualify for the match.
- Donor-Advised Grant: Make your grant recommendation payable to Cumberland Community Foundation (tax id 58-1406831) and designate it for GivingTuesday. Include a list of the charities you’re supporting.
- Stock Gifts: Contact us at (910) 483-4449 for instructions (Mary Holmes x103 or Mary Anne Brooks x106).
- Charitable IRA Rollovers: Donors aged 70.5 or older can give directly from their IRA. Call us or email Gifts@CumberlandCF.Org for details to ensure your gift is properly acknowledged.
Other Ways to Get Involved:
- Spread the Word: Share information about Cumberland Community Foundation’s Giving Tuesday event on social media. Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to get involved and make their gifts count! Use hashtags like #GivingTuesdayCCF and tag us in your posts.
- Volunteer Your Time: Consider volunteering with one of the local nonprofits featured in our Guide to Giving. Your time can be just as valuable as financial contributions in helping our community thrive.
